KHALIFA UNIVERSITY FORMULA STUDENT

JOIN THE TEAM

LEARN BY BUILDING

Take part in the development of our first electric Formula Student car. Students from every year of study are welcome, with no previous motorsport experience required.

ABOUTJOINING KUFS

Formula Student takes the work beyond the classroom. You will contribute to a shared project, learn from other students and develop practical skills through supervised engineering and operations work.

Reliability and a willingness to learn matter more than motorsport experience. Recruitment opens in October; expressions of interest are welcome throughout the year.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

YOUR QUESTIONS

How much time does it take?

Realistically 6–10 hours a week during term, with more before manufacturing deadlines or competition. A smaller reliable commitment is better than overpromising.

What year do I need to be in?

Any year. First-year students are encouraged to express interest.

Do I need prior experience?

No prior motorsport experience is expected. Reliability and willingness to learn matter. Workshop and electrical work require appropriate training and supervision.

I am not an engineer. Is there a place for me?

Yes. Sponsorship, finance, marketing, media, design and communications are essential to the programme.

When can I apply?

Recruitment opens each October. Expressions of interest are welcome throughout the year as places become available.
