SUPPORT STUDENT ENGINEERING

Help 54 students develop Khalifa University’s first Formula Student car through funding, equipment, manufacturing or specialist expertise.

ABOUTPARTNERSHIPS

A Formula Student programme gives students experience across vehicle engineering, project delivery and commercial communication. Partners help make that work possible.

We welcome both financial and in-kind support. The packages below set out the proposed recognition and access, with details agreed in writing with the team and university.

SEASON ONE

Lead the founding season. High-visibility recognition and access to engineering talent.

In-kind support is valued individually.

Recognition reflects the verified contribution value, relevance and impact. Vehicle/teamwear placement, website and report credits, social acknowledgement and event recognition are agreed in writing. Recruitment access and lab visits are not automatically included.

IN-KIND SUPPORT

MATERIALS, TIME & EXPERTISE

Materials and vehicle components

Steel, fasteners, composites, cells, motors, inverters; items fitted to the car.

Manufacturing and machining

Welding, five-axis machining, waterjet, sheet metal; turnaround matters as well as capacity.

Software and engineering tools

CAD, CFD, FEA, lap simulation, data acquisition, PCB tooling licences.

Equipment and testing

Dyno/rig time, measurement equipment, safe running venue.

Transportation and logistics

Transporting the car and equipment to and from track-testing venues within the UAE.

Technical consultation

Design reviews, mentoring, an engineer's time.
